Bluegrass Red is a blend of red grapes we produce from our vineyard, including Chambourcin, Norton, Villard Noir and Noiret. The French-American hybrid grapes give it a tangy flavor. This wine varies from year to year depending on the growing season, but is generally dry. We ferment this wine with medium toasted American oak. (12.0 Abv)
Tasting Notes: A dry red with a slight tanginess and a hint of oak. Serve at room temperature.
Winemaker Notes: Fermented with medium toasted American oak chips and aged in an American, medium-toast oak barrel.
